The personal exhibition commemorating the 75th anniversary of Fedor Kascheev's birth goes on in Michail Nesterov Bashkir State Art Museum. Selected works of the master are included into this exposition.
Fedor Kascheev is one of the founders of the Bashkir School of painting formed in the second half of the 20th century. The theme of birthplace, simple life of village toilers and ancient traditions of Bashkir people runs all through his works.
Fedor Kascheev was born in 1934. He got education at the Bashkir State Theatre and Art School, Department of Arts. Since 1957, he took an active part in the regional, all-Russian and international exhibition, and in 1960, he was admitted to the Russian Artists' Union. The main collection of his works is kept in Michail Nesterov Bashkir State Art Museum. Some of his paintings were distributed throughout the whole country. Art museums in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Abakan, Krasnoyarsk and Izhevsk own them.
The anniversary exhibition of Fedor Kascheev will be open up to January 24.
