Woman’s madrasah is opened in Tuimazy

author: Rafil Sakhabutdinov

Official opening of the woman’s madrasah “IHLAS” has taken place in the town of Tuimazy last Sunday. Chairman of Tuimazinsky municipal district Ilyas Saniev, chairman of the Central Clerical Muslim Dept RB, the Supreme Mufti of Russia Talgat Tadjuddin, rector of Russian Islamic University, the head mufti of Ural federal district Rinat hazrat Rais and representatives of local clergy congratulated the parish with this remarkable event.

Erection of the madrasah started still in 2005. But because of shortage of means the building works on the site ran too slowly.

The construction moved from the dead point thanks to the local citizen Khamatgareev, who took the lion’s share of expenses on himself. Local building and industrial enterprises, communal services and the parish contributed their mite too.

About 20 girl-students study at the woman’s madrasah now and they study not just Arab language, the history of Muhammad the Prophet and Koran but Russian language, foreign languages and housekeeping too. On Fridays and Sundays the students teach the parish the basics of Islam.
