144 tons of meat has been sold out for two fair days on the last weekends. This was the second pre-New Year fair in Ufa and agrarians from 20 Bashkir regions brought their produce to the capital of Bashkortostan. The agrarians brought to Ufa fairs mainly meat as before. 77 tons of beef, 42 tons of pork, five tons of mutton and 20 tons of horse-flesh have been sold out here.

Not a single New Year meal does without poultry meat. Carcasses of gooses face the highest popularity – about 9 tons of goose meat has been sold plus about three tons of delicate turkey meat. The last in 2009 agrarian and meat fair will be held in Ufa on the next weekends.
