Pupils of Ufa correctional comprehensive boarding school N13 have met their old friends — lecturers and students of Ufa Law Institute of the Ministry of the Interior. Such meetings timed to the International Day of Persons with Disabilities are held here annually.
The Institute has been acting as a patron of the boarding school for children with musculoskeletal disorders since 1991.
The patronage of the Law Institute is aimed not only to the financial support of the school, but also to the broadening of the world of its pupils and to relieving the monotony of their life. The Do Good project was elaborated within the framework of this collaboration. The project presupposes joint activities and rather such prosaic but still very important actions as fitting out classrooms with furniture, TV sets and tape recorders and beautification of the school territory.
A charitable action meant for rendering financial assistance to the boarding school was carried out by the Institute in November. Upholstered furniture, LSD televisions, radio recorders, sewing machines and balls were purchases for the money collected by the Institute and presented to the school. And, of course, each child got a sweet present.
The patrons organized a concert for children. Teachers and pupils of the school told them about their progress in studying, creative work and sports and showed their concert numbers. The patrons are already preparing for the next meeting with children. They will come for their New Year performance with their own Santa Claus and gifts.
