The Supreme Mufti of Russia Talgat Tadjuddin is rewarded with the order of Russian Orthodox Church

The Patriarch of Moscow and the whole of Russia Cyril presented the order of the Holy Prince Daniel of Moscow to the chairman of the Central Clerical Muslim Dept RF, the Supreme Mufti RF Talgat Tadjuddin.

The awarding ceremony was held during the meeting of two spiritual leaders at the III World Congress of the compatriots, living abroad. The order was presented to Talgat Tadjuddin for his long-term work on consolidation of the inter-religious dialogue in our country, the Central Clerical Muslim Dept RF reported to “Bashinform”.

“We highly appreciate your love for our Motherland and striving for the inter-cultural and inter-religious dialogue” – the Patriarch said, presenting the order to the head of the Central Clerical Muslim Dept.

In response Talgat Tadjuddin expressed hope for further consolidation of the relations between Russian Christian Church and the Muslim community of Russia.

“We are the parts of one whole, of our great Motherland and should live in peace, mutual agreement and understanding” – he said.
