Bashkortostan is one of the leaders by resettlement of citizens from slum dwelling to new tenements. According to information f the Fund for assistance to reform of housing-communal services the largest number of people have left slum dwelling for new houses in Kemerovo region – 2975 people and Bashkortostan runs on the second place with 2097 people. Novosibirsk (2024), Orenburg (1631) and Chelyabinsk (1584) regions go behind.
The Volga federal district region is the leader among all other federal districts of the country by this index – 10579 people have moved to new flats.
