Talgat Tadjuddin: the institute of clergy in Russian army will add accuracy to our missiles
The Chairman of the Central Clerical Muslim Dept of Russia, the Supreme Mufti RF Talgat Tadjuddin said yes to several theses of Russian President’s Annual Message to the Federal Assembly.
“The Central Clerical Muslim Dept of Russia grasped the Message of Russian President Dmitry Medvedev to the Federal Assembly and to the whole population of Russia with enthusiasm” – he said – “We vote for his theses with both hands and especially for the thesis, which says about the necessity to open the institute of traditional clergy in the Russian army. The spiritual and moral aid for our servicemen will add more accuracy to our missiles. We also say great thanks to the Russian President for his penetrating attitude to the problems of the Northern Caucasus. It is quite clear these problems aren’t restricted by just one region and can’t be solved by purely coercive methods. These problems are our common pain and they affect the whole of Russia. We have to struggle with any manifestations of extremism jointly and at the same time avoid any racial discrimination. Russia is the great country, a sort of the Noah’s Arc and we have no right to throw any nations out of it”.
Talgat Tadjuddin also supported the opinion of Dmitry Medvedev concerning the necessity to introduce such subject as the basics of culture and traditional religions at Russian schools:
“This step will definitely contribute to spiritual and moral revival and to prosperity of our country. Such theses inspire us and urge to immediate actions. This is the promising program for all of us, for our children and grandchildren”.
