The appointed not long ago representative of the Central Clerical Muslim Dept of Russia in Ukraine Rinat Aisin says it is high time to restore the common spiritual space between Russia and Ukraine.
“I regard my work in this direction my civil and religious duty” – he said in his interview to the news-agency “Bashinform” – “After the USSR breakdown the larger part of the cultural ties, uniting the citizens of our countries, was lost. Now these ties have to be restored on the whole post-Soviet territory.
At present time, as Rinat Aisin reported, there are five spiritual centers, presenting various directions in Islam, in Ukraine and at that the majority of Ukrainian Muslims consider themselves the adherents of the Central Clerical Muslim Dept of Russia.
“Within the frames of the work on restoration of the common spiritual space on the territories of our two counties we pre-planned several educational programs. Representatives of the Central Clerical Muslim Dept RF will go to Ukraine for training Muslim activists in this country and education for Ukrainian imams will be organized in Ufa and Moscow in parallel”.
