Calligrapher from Iran conducted open lesson in Ufa

author: Eugene Rakhimkulov

The pedagogue from Iran Sirus Borzy conducted the open lesson on calligraphy in the madrasah by Miriam Sultanova. He teaches Ufa students Persian language and calligraphy in the course of two years. People devote to calligraphy many years at special schools in Iran, that’s why any mosque in Iran looks a real piece of art. Sirus Borzu visited several mosques in our Republic and said the art of calligraphy here was developed to a lesser degree than in Iran, so those people, who just started working in this sphere, would face really good prospects.

As the pedagogue says, there are many really talented children among his pupils, able to master during two months all, what people sometimes study during two years in Iran.

“At the same time some practical lessons at Iranian calligraphic schools would be very useful for them” – Sirus Borzu says –“They would come back being the real masters of calligraphic art and would be able to transform many mosques in Bashkortostan”.

The deputy chairman of the Central Clerical Muslim Dept RB Ruslan Sayakhov reports in the nearest future they plan the whole series of similar open lessons. The nearest lessons will be devoted to Arab language and to the rules of Koran reading and the pedagogue from Turkey is already invited.
