85 pilgrims from Bashkortostan prefer more economical hadj route

More than a half of the pilgrims from Bashkortostan, intending to visit the holy places in Mecca, preferred more economical variant of hadj route.

In total complexity about 200 citizens RB will go to Mecca in 2009 and 85 have chosen the route, offered by the tourist agency “AIRA-TOUR”. The cost of the tour makes about 80 thousand rubles and the pilgrims will travel by air along the route Ufa-Istanbul-Amman by “Turkish Airlines” and from Amman they’ll go to Mecca by bus. After the hadj they’ll return home on December 6.

The General Director of “AIRA-TOUR” Marina Belyaeva reports the list of the participants of this hadj-mission includes people of all ages and many of them go to Mecca not for the first time. The youngest pilgrim is 16 and the oldest -82 years old.

Another part of the pilgrims from Bashkortostan – more than 100 people – will be served by the Interregional Pilgrimage Center “IDEL-HADJ”, which offers several hadj variants with the cost from 75 to 140 thousand rubles and duration from 14 to 27 days.

The flights from Ufa to Saudi Arabia are appointed on December 12, 14, 16 and 19.

Along with the pilgrims from Bashkortostan more than 20 thousand people from Russia will visit the holy places in Mecca in 2009.
