Problems of Islamic education were under discussion in Moscow
The II international Islamic conference “The usage of modern technologies in development of religious education” is over in Moscow. The conference was held within the frames of the Presidential program of arrangements for training of the specialists with deep knowledge of history and culture of Islam and was organized by the Moscow Islamic University, Saint-Petersburg State University, the Department on religious affairs of Turkish Republic and by the Fund on support of Islamic culture, science and education.
Representatives of Russian Federation Council, Russian State Duma, Russian President Administration, Russian Government, Ministry of education and science RF, Ministry of foreign affairs RF and leading state and religious institutes, international organization and foreign higher education institutions participated in the conference.
During two days participants of the conference were discussing the modern state of Islamic education in the country and its role in development of inter-religious dialogue. New elaborations and prospects of the usage of modern technologies and distant education systems within the frames of Muslim education were ventilated at the conference.
In opinion of the deputy chairman of the Clerical Muslim Dept RB on education issues Ruslan Sayakhov, who presented Republic of Bashkortostan at the conference, the importance of such arrangements is that from one side at such conferences the officials announce the measures, chosen by the state for development of Islamic education in the country, and from the other side specialists in sphere of religious education get an opportunity to share their experience.
