Bashkir State Academic Drama Theatre is on tour in Moscow

Guest performances of the Bashkir State Academic Drama Theatre (BSADT) n.a. Majit Gafuri are going on in Moscow these days. They take place on the stage of the Russian State Academic Drama Theatre n.a. Alexander Pushkin.

On the last day of the two-day tour, October 13, Muscovites will see the production of the last season — a lyric drama "Shaurakay" staged by theatre director Airat Abushakhmanov.

The actors of the theatrical performance are the nominees of the "Golden mask — 2008", RF and RB people's artist, laureate of Salavat Yulaev State prize Khurmatulla Utyashev, laureate of Sh. Babich youth prize Almas Amirov and others. Young actors Ruslan Khaisarov and Gulsesek Fazlaeva, recent graduates of the Ufa State Z. Ismagilov Academy of arts and the Schepkin drama school act the main parts.

On the first day of the tour, on October 12, Bashkir actors showed a spectacular retro-concert "Let's get back to youth" with the participation of RF, RB, RT people's artists, laureates of Salavat Yulaev State prize — Nuria Irsaeva and Fidan Gafarov.

According to the press-service of BSADT, the performance was a great success and got the best possible comments of our compatriots living in Moscow.

Right after its guest performances in Moscow, BSADT will leave for Minsk to participate in the International theatre festival "Panorama". There Baskir artists will represent performance "Flying over the cuckoo's nest" after the novel by Ken Kesey.
