The head of Ufa administration Paul Kachkaev appealed the heads of district administrations to active struggle with illegally working gambling-houses.
“Unfortunately the situation is that several gambling-houses are still left unclosed in the city so far” – the Ufa Mayor said – “We try to close the gambling-houses but they just migrate from one district to another and we have to struggle with gambling industry, using all our possibilities”.
The largest number of gambling-houses works in Ordjonikidzevsky (7) and Kalininsky (5) districts of Ufa now, though the federal legislation prohibits gambling activity on the territory of Russia except four gambling specially allocated zones – in Altai region, on the Maritime Territory, in Kaliningrad region and on the border between Krasnodar and Rostov regions.
