The Declaration about state sovereignty, which had been approved 19 years ago, moved Bashkortostan into the list of the most progressive regions of Russia, as the deputies of State Council RB Shamil Bikkulov and Rustem Kuzbekov consider. In the course of today’s news-conference in “Bashinform” the deputies called the main macroeconomic indices, characterizing the achievements of Bashkortostan, standing in the Top10 of the most developed Russian regions: the gross regional product increased two times for this period of time, the volume of industrial production – 1,8 times, building volumes - 1,6 times, investments – three times and investments in building sphere – 2,3 times. Bashkortostan stands on the fourth place in Russia by agricultural production, on the fifth – by housing building, on the sixth – by the volume of chargeable services, on the seventh by the volume of retail trade and on the eighth – by the volume of investments into the fixed capital of 83 Russian regions.
“This is the breakthrough” – Shamil Bikkulov says – “We were quite right, having approved the declaration and those conclusions, we had reached in the course of the analysis of social-economic situation in Bashkiria, were proved by everyday practice”.
The deputies underscored that the parliament RB had played very important role. The parliament has created the legislative base, necessary for making the reforms. At present time the legislative base of Bashkortostan consists of more than three thousand laws and though some of these laws have to be brought to conformity with the federal ones we have the place for our own ways and it concerns social protection of population first of all. For example, families with many kids receive the microvans “Gazelle” absolutely free (in case they have nine minors), free flats (five kids), mothers with many children are stimulated in Bashkortostan too; we have special preferences for veterans of labor etc.
Radical changes have occurred in habits of our towns and villages. Bashkortostan produces buses and trolley-buses and now it will produce modern tractors too. We may say with assurance that everything, which had happened 19 years ago, played positive role both for Bashkortostan and Russia.
