Milk farm is reconstructed in Ilishevsky region

The milk farm, meant for 430 cows, will start working soon after reconstruction in Ilishevsky region of Bashkortostan. Since 2008 the farm works in the staff of the investor – the company “Selena-Agro”. More than 28 million rubles have been invested in modernization of the farm. The money was spent for construction works, restoration of the cow-shed and deliveries of modern technological equipment from abroad. President of Bashkortostan Murtaza Rakhimov visited the farm on Wednesday within the frames of his work trip over Ilishevsky and Chekmagushevsky regions of the Republic. President RB became interested in milk yields and in the meat markets. Representatives of the farm reported that the average milk yield made 8-9 liters of milk from every cow and the enterprise “SAVA” from Tuimazy and the Ufa meat-packing factory were the main buyers of their meat. President RB mentioned that it was necessary to expand the sales markets. “This is the key task for today” – he said.

In 2008 the farm has received about 3 million rubles of benefits and profitability of the farm was at the level of 28%. For nine months 2009 the farm produced 332 centners of meat (135% as compared with 2008) and 2787 centners of milk (+123%). The average milk yield from one cow made 1858 kg and the average weight increment – 405g.
