Bashkortostan intends to support mono-towns
12 territories, determined by Ministry of economic development RB as mono-towns, will receive an all-sided support for stabilization of the economic situation, Minister of economic development RB Eugene Evtushenko reported.
Thus, the projects on reorientation of the town-forming enterprises in such towns will participate in the contests for financing from the Federal Investment Fund (it will be presumably filled up with ten billion rubles in 2010). Besides, it is planned to support such enterprises with state orders (JSC “NEFAZ” has already received the state order for its buses). Preferential credits and credits under state guarantees and state backing of small business stand in the list of other mechanisms for improvement of the economic situation in the mono-towns.
Thus, construction of the port of “river-sea” type is one of the most wide-scaled projects, which is already realized in the most “complicated” mono-town of Agidel. The cost of the project is 3,6 billion rubles and 700 million rubles are already mastered. As M-r Evtushenko reported, the black oil terminal is erected and the light oil terminal is found under erection now.
The port of Agidel is very profitable logistic point and its input into operation is able to provide the way to the Black Sea, the Caspian and the Baltic Seas. Besides, deployment of the port will allow more actively realizing the federal project “Industrial Ural-Polar Ural”.
The project of Agidel can be launched already by 2011 and deployment of this object will supply 2,6 thousand people with jobs.
Production of building materials in the town of Kumertau is also considered one of the most perspective projects for mono-towns and similar projects are worked up and realized in other mono-towns.
