Construction of the bypass highway Ufa-Orenburg near the town of Meleuz is over. The ceremony of its opening has taken place on Friday with participation of President RB Murtaza Rakhimov, chairman of State Council RB Constantine Tolkatchev and Prime-Minister of Government RB Rail Sarbaev.
The extension of the part of the bypass highway Orenburg-Ufa near Meleuz is 8 kilometers. The necessity of its construction is caused by the growth of motor-car traffic and now there is no need for the trucks, running either to Ufa or Orenburg, to go through the town of Meleuz.
“The putting of this highway into operation is the clear evidence of those positive reforms, which have occurred in the Republic for the last 19 years” – the speaker of Bashkir parliament Constantine Tolkatchev said at the ceremony – “It means that social policy of the Republican authority is aimed at improvement of the Republican population’s well-being”.
