A third-year student of Ufa State Aviation and Technical University Ekaterina Yamschikova became the winner of the international competition of young pop singers "Silver Yantra", which took place in Veliko Turnovo (Bulgaria).
According to USATU press-centre, the student gained the right to represent Russia after her victory at the IV international song contest "The way to stars" in St. Petersburgh.
"Silver Yantra" gathered about 100 participants from different countries of the world; their vocal skills were assessed by international jury headed by the legend of Bulgarian stage Lili Ivanova.
"The participants were all worthy competitors, with a good background and impressive vocal" — Ekaterina Yamschikova says — "All the more pleasant is appreciation of my singing. My victory is an achievement of those who helped and supported me".
