The Bashkir publishing house “KITAP” by Zainab Biisheva is rewarded with the honorable diploma of the Association of book-publishers RF by the totals of the XXII Moscow international book fair.
In 2008 the Bashkir publishing house “KITAP” was included into the Top 200 of the largest regional Russian publishing houses, having left publishers of Kazan and Yekaterinburg behind.
As the organizers of the book fair report the crisis hasn’t become an obstacle for it. By September 2009 more than 82 thousand new book titles have been issued in the country – much more than in 2008. The total circulation of the published book production makes up 470 million copies.
The Association of book-publishers RF is a non-commercial, professional organization, founded on April 17, 1990. For today it unites more than 200 publishing houses and more than a half of these publishers present Russian regions.
