For the first eight months 2009 the Russian Federal Migration Service Dept in RB has issued 14655 work permits for foreign citizens, the deputy head of the Russian Federal Migration Service Dept in RB Khamit Nafikov reported to the field meeting of the public-consultative council under the Russian Federal Migration Service Dept in RB.
Representatives of CIS countries received the lion’s share of the permits and 2425 permits were issued for citizens of non-CIS countries. Foreigners from 35 states work on the territory of Bashkortostan today and citizens of Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan and Turkey predominate in the list.
