The final meeting of the Commission on awarding the youth state prizes in sphere of science and technique under chairmanship of the deputy Prime-Minister of Government RB, Minister of culture and national politics RB Ildus Ilishev has taken in the Republic House today.
The number of the pretenders grows up from year to year. In 2088 there were 45 pretenders. 49 works are nominated in 2009, including 17 works in sphere of humanitarian sciences, 15 – in sphere of technical sciences and 17 works — in sphere of natural sciences. The geography of the pretenders is expanded too. Ufa is not the only city and pretenders from Sibay, Birsk and other towns and regions of the Republic take part in the competition.
The prizes were established by the decree of Government RB in 2002. Since then 12 young scientists and six scientific teams have become the laureates.
The state prizes will be traditionally presented to the winners during the Republic Day celebrations.
