The popular magazine "Tamasha" is 15 years of age. Its editorial staff does not treat this date as a great occasion and does not celebrate it — almost all the staff members are on business-trips. For the years that it exists, "Tamasha" is strictly following the chosen route: its articles should carry a good, wise and positive mood and reflect cultural life of our republic.
— Our reader is fascinated by theatre and dramaturgy, keen on painting and admiring beauty in every sense of this word, — the deputy editor-in-chief Suleiman Latypov says, — We publish materials that find a broad response among our readers, probably owing to this we receive so many letters fr om them.
The magazine's staff includes only 10 people. But the "Tamasha" constantly engages free-lance authors, their number comes to 30, they are mostly famous republican cultural workers and writers.
— We have a steady team, — Latypov is going on, — for instance, our editor-in-chief Nail Gaitbaev was one of the originators of our magazine and he is so far our leader. The main requirement that we specify for our journalists — is love for art and man. Respect for the heroes we write about is an obligatory condition of our work. By the way, not all the ideas are born in our editorial office. Sometimes we have calls or letters fr om our readers who suggest one or another theme. If we find it interesting, we start to work on it and write an article.
The "Tamasha" magazine may be found in libraries, cultural institutions and schools — in other words, everywhere where there is an interest to cultural community of our republic. The magazine comes out once in two months. The next issue will be devoted to the 90th anniversary of the Bashkir State Academic Drama theatre n.a. Mazhit Gafuri.
