Broadband wireless modems on the fourth generation’s Mobile WiMax technology will appear on sale in Ufa beginning fr om July 6. For the period of the test network exploitation (till autumn) all owners of the modems may use internet free with no limitations, PR-director of the company “YOTA” Natalie Tsarevskaya-Dyakina reports.
“Ufa has become the third city in Russian Federation after Moscow and Saint-Petersburg, where we managed to launch our Mobile WiMax network” – she said – “Bashkortostan is one of economically well-developed regions. We’ve failed to face any bureaucratic obstacles here and as a result for nine months (from the first arrival of “YOTA” director in Ufa till the first launch of the program “YOTA Champion”) we managed to assemble necessary equipment on the whole territory of the city”.
The USB-modems (suitable for any modern PC) and express-cards for notebooks will appear on sale soon. Besides, one may buy the first in the world GSM+ Mobile WiMax HTC Max 4G phone and new models of notebooks with already installed modules Mobile WiMax already now.
The company “YOTA” is the leading Russian designer and purveyor of mobile services on the base of Mobile WiMax and the only provider in Russia, able to provide wireless mobile internet access at the rate of up to 10 MB/sec. By the end of June 85% of Ufa territory is found in the zone of consistent reception and in autumn the network will be launched on the whole territory. Further the company intends to start launching its networks in Krasnodar and Sochi.
