Bashkir theaters are partaking in the festival of Turk nations “Nauruz”

Bashkir State Academic Dramatic Theater by M. Gafuri and Bashkir State Puppet Show are partaking in the IX international theatrical festival of Turk nations “Nauruz”. The festival starts in Kazan today. The performance of Bashkir Puppet Show will take place already on June 3 on the stage of Tatar Puppet Show “AKIAT”. Our puppeteers will show the play “Live Water”, staged by Gulnara Valitova by the Bashkir fairy tale “TAZ BATYR”.

Bashkir Academic Dramatic Theater brought the play of popular Tatar dramatist Tufan Minullin “Is it a sin to love?” by Airat Abushakhmanov. The play is prepared specially for this festival and the first performance has taken place in Ufa on April 17-18.

News-agency “Tatar-Inform” reports, referring the festival’s organizers, the show will gather about 350 guests and theaters from 11 countries and Russian regions will arrive to demonstrate their plays – troupes from Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and other countries. Solemn opening ceremony will take place on June 3 on the stage of Kamal Theater and the festival will be declared closed on June 5.
