Interpreters are meeting in Istanbul
The work of the international scientific-practical conference on problems of translations from Turk languages to Turk languages is going on working in Istanbul.
The head of BSU oriental languages chair, candidate of philological sciences Gainislam Ibragimov, the head of social linguistics department of the Institute of humanitarian investigations under the Academy of sciences RB, candidate of philological sciences Fairuza Garipova and representative of Ministry of culture and national politics RB in the international organization TURKSOY, candidate of historical sciences Akhat Salikhov are participating in the conference. The conference is organized by the international organization TURKSOY, MALTEPE University and by the Union of Eurasia Writers. The conference is devoted to the memory of well-known Azerbaijani poet and writer Bakhtiar Vakhabzade and held from March 31 to April 5.
The rector of MALTEPE University Kemal Koyman, TURKSOY General Director Dussen Kaseinov and Director of the Turkish linguistic society Shukru Khaluk Akalyn took the floor in the first day of the conference with welcoming speeches. They emphasized the importance of the conference and pointed to the existing problems in sphere of translation into Turk languages.
Speaking at the section meetings Gainislam Ibragimov has shared the experience of Bashkir interpreters’ work. The representative of the Linguistics Institute under Russian Academy of sciences, candidate of philological sciences Alfina Sibgatullina has taken the floor re translations from Bashkir into Tatar language and from Tatar into Bashkir.
Representatives of the leading Turkish institutes, including the pedagogues of GAZI University, busy with teaching and study of Bashkir and Tatar philology are also taking part in the conference.
