As news-agency “Bashinform” already reported, Republic of Bashkortostan is preparing for the VIII Congress of oil-gas producers and for the XVII international specialized exhibition “Gas, Oil, Technologies-2009”, appointed on May 26-29, 2009. Seminars and “round tables” are scheduled within the frames of this oil-gas forum and six scientific sections will work there. One of these sections will be dedicated to the problems of oil and gas processing. The head of intellectual property department of the state unitary enterprise “The Institute of oil-chemical processing” Natalie Dementieva tells how preparation for the international scientific-practical conference “Oil-gas processing-2009” is going on.
“Russian Association of oil producers and oil chemists, JSC “UFANEFTEHIM”, Academy of sciences RB and Ufa State Oil Technical University come out as the organizers of the conference jointly with our Institute. The conference will be held on May 27 in the conference-hall of Ufa Sports Palace on one site with the exhibition “Gas, Oil, technologies-2009”. We may say already today that the interest in the conference is great because its subject-matter is very wide: sources of raw materials, technology, economics, ecology, products, equipment and automation of oil-gas processing. Moscow journals “The World of Oil Products” and “Oil-Gas Vertical” and the journal “Exposition, Oil, Gas” (from NABEREZNYE CHELNY) come out as the informational partners. For today we have already received the theses of 209 reports of specialists from Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan and we expect other 20 reports will be delivered in the course of preparations for the conference. About 20 reports of representatives of industrial enterprises, the Academy of sciences RB, scientific-research institutes and scientific-production associations will be listened. The collection of scientific materials will be prepared by the beginning of the conference.
In 2008 about 150 representatives of industrial enterprises, academic organizations, scientific-research institutes, scientific-production associations and Russian institutes and from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine and Byelorussia have taken part in the conference “Oil-processing-2008”. We expect approximately the same number of the participants this year”.
