More than 500 dancers to take part in “Friendship Round Dance”
More than 500 dancers will take part in the open Republican children folk choreography festival “Friendship Round Dance”, planned to be held in Tuimazy next week, Republican Folk Art Center reports.
“For today 29 dance groups, including dancers from Chelyabinsk, Tyumen regions and from Kazakhstan, already confirmed their participation in the festival” – leading youthful creative activity methodologist Aigul Mavlutova informs.
The children’s folk choreography festival “Friendship Round Dance” will be held in Bashkortostan for the second time. First time it has taken place also in Tuimazy in 2007 and was devoted to the 450th anniversary of Bashkiria’s free-will joining the staff of Russia.
The main goal of the festival is popularization of children’s folk choreography, strengthening of its role in aesthetic education of younger generation and establishment of creative contacts between different folk collectives.
