Radiy Khabirov thanked volunteers - BSMU students for participating in #WeTogether campaign
The Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, on his social media, thanked the volunteers — students of Bashkir State Medical University (BSMU), who help older residents of the republic as part of the All-Russian Mutual Assistance Campaign #WeTogether. Any older adult 60+ or one having difficulty with movement can ask to buy and deliver them the necessary products, medicines, and essential goods. The hotline +7 800-200-34-11 operates around the clock.
The call arrives at the federal call center; then, the information is sent to the regions. Medical volunteers contact people, specify the shopping list and time of the visit. All purchases are delivered to apartments. Medical volunteers do not enter residences, observe all safety measures so as not to endanger the older persons. Young guys work exclusively in masks and gloves, use antiseptic agents, keep a distance.
Each application is assigned an identification number to protect against fraudsters; a medical volunteer is obliged to name it during a visit.
In Bashkiria, ART-Motors and Priority Driving School also became participants of the #WeTogether campaign. They are transporting medical volunteers to the applicants' locations. Entrepreneur Vadim Zagitov, who provides food packages for those in need, joined the campaign too. The Polyplex and Polymerplast companies supply high-quality disposable tableware to the Ufa hospitals, the "Zhivoye Selo" agricultural enterprise provides the infectious diseases hospital with dairy products. The members of the Youth All People's Front team brought today 120 5-liter bottles of drinking water and 200 tubes of moisturizer to the medical personnel of the infectious diseases hospital.
