Bear with cubs came out of hibernation in “Bashkiria” National Park
Employees of the Bashkiria National Park spotted a bear with two-year-old cubs on the left bank of the Nugush River. Specialists patrolled the area, and the clubfoot walked along the slope and ate grass with roots.
“This year we met only lonely bears, yesterday for the first time we saw a bear with cubs,” said Vladimir Kuznetsov, director of the Bashkiria National Park. “The photo shows that the bear is well-fed, wintered well, the cubs are also strong and healthy.”
Employees of the national park note that the bears are now calm, slow and do not pose a danger since they live far from settlements.
