Tracking "contact" people may be introduced in Bashkiria
Monitoring of compliance with the self-isolation regime of people arriving from abroad may be introduced in Bashkiria, said Alexander Zherebtsov, head of the Rospotrebnadzor department, at a government briefing session. However, he did not explain how it would be implemented.
The official said that the department was developing an additional plan of anti-epidemiological measures. The first point of it is “protection of territories: monitoring and isolation of 100% contact persons who arrived from abroad, including at home”.
The plan also reflects the need to attract private laboratories to the COVID-19 testing and increase the bed capacity for potential patients, although it is proposed to treat patients with a mild form at home.
According to Zherebtsov, the region is in the third phase of the epidemiological process: the limited, controlled distribution of COVID.
