Bashkiria exporters requested anti-crisis government support
In Bashkiria, the support plan for exporting companies will be finalized, taking into account their proposals. It is planned to include the payment of penalties and fines due to transport downtime at state borders in the list of compensated costs, the State Committee for Foreign Economic Relations stated. The agency will request appropriate support from the republican budget.
In general, the committee identified three main problems for exporters that arose in connection with the crisis: increased costs due to downtime at borders, the reduced purchasing power of foreign counterparties, suspension of foreign business trips, or prolonged self-isolation after them.
Companies would like to receive compensation for logistics costs, deferred tax payments, and payments under leasing contracts. They would be greatly assisted by lowering interest on loans and reducing customs payments.
All meetings and negotiations are transferred online. Thus, the B2B planned for the near future with potential contractors from Austria and Indonesia will go through video conferencing.
