First robotic farm started operating in Bashkiria
The first stage of a robotic dairy farm for 800 cows of the black-motley breed was launched in the “Krasnaya Bashkiriya” farm of the Abzelilovskiy district. The farm will produce 7.2 thousand tons of milk annually with an estimated productivity of 9 thousand kg per year from each cow.
This project has no analogs in the republic: before that, the region had no practice of using milking robots.
The farm put into operation the first building of frame tent structures for 400 heads for stray cattle, the construction of the second tent is being completed.
Six Lely Astronaut A5 milking robots, three vacuum cleaning robots of the Lely Discovery Collector 120 type, as well as a feed pusher robot, are already installed in the first building. The same number of robots will work in the second tent.
The total investment is estimated at 420 million rubles. The payback period of the pilot project is from three to five years.
On Friday, February 21, the participants of the republican meeting on animal husbandry, which takes place in the Abzelilovsky district, examined the work of the first robotic farm in the republic.
“This is the first full-cycle robotic farm in Russia and built using a frame-tent method,” said the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture of Bashkortostan Ilshat Fazrakhmanov.
The general director of the agricultural enterprise Rail Fakhrislamov said that they bought robots at the Ufa enterprise Robotex, where the large-node assembly production of Dutch milking robots Lely Astronaut A5 was launched in January last year. Currently, the cost of one milkmaid robot, partially collected in Ufa, is 180 thousand euros.
The benefits of milking robots are undeniable. A clear sequence in the implementation of technological operations and the absence of a human factor make it possible to obtain high-quality milk.
