Bashkiria will continue state support for small rural business at 1 billion rubles in 2020

In 2020, the Bashkortostan government plans to maintain state support for small businesses in rural settlements at the level of 1 billion rubles, the press service of the republican Ministry of Agriculture reports.
“For the first time, almost 1 billion rubles were allocated for the development of small businesses rural areas as part of the implementation of national projects, grant programs and a program to support local initiatives. This year, their funding will remain at the same level, ”said Almaz Galimov, spokesman for the Ministry of Agriculture of Bashkiria.
In total, in 2019, 108 agricultural consumer cooperatives and 129 farms were created in the republic. 620 jobs were created in the countryside due to their appearance in the region.
Besides, 33 farms and cooperatives of the republic were able to upgrade equipment and purchase equipment.
“Bashkiria ranks first in the rating of regions in terms of the number of agricultural cooperatives created for 2018-2019,” Almaz Galimov stated. “16% of all the new cooperatives created in Russia during this time are Bashkiria associations.”
