Bashkiria successfully completed subsidizing exporter program
UFA, 13 December 2019. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/.
Bashkiria has completed a program of subsidizing part of the costs to exporting enterprises for the transportation of products. The State Committee RB for Foreign Economic Relations signed last agreements in 2019 with companies participating in this republican program.
Among the companies with which such agreements were signed, there were “Bashkirsky Ugol” LLC, “Geotech”, “Radoil”, “Russkaya Kuporosnaya Kompaniya”, and “Chishminskoye” OJSC.
“40 million rubles envisaged in the republican budget for these purposes have been fully spent,” stated Ruslan Mirsayapov, Chairman of the Bashkortostan State Committee for Foreign Economic Relations. “The republic has successfully implemented its project to support export business in the form of subsidizing part of transportation costs.”
The program started in the region in June this year. Due to it, companies could compensate up to 5 million rubles for expenses on regular deliveries and up to 1 million rubles for “pilot” shipments.
In total, 39 enterprises of Bashkiria participated the program in 2019. Of these, 31 companies received reimbursement for regular export deliveries — a total of 37.48 million rubles. Eight companies in the region received 2.52 million rubles for the "pilot" party.
The goods were exported for a total amount of more than 1.2 billion rubles, the cost of transport services amounted to 75.3 million rubles.
“The enterprises of Bashkiria exported chemical products, agricultural products, equipment for the oil and gas sector, metals, lumber, charcoal, scales, food, glass, packaging, helicopters, including several unique products: planks for making pencils, inkjet mixing devices, Crambe seed oil, visitor counter for shopping malls. I emphasize that the products were manufactured by resident companies of Bashkiria and exported from the territory of the republic, ” added Ilgizar Sanyarov, the Press Secretary of the State Committee RB for Foreign Economic Relations.
The geography of exports is quite extensive — the countries of the CIS, Europe, Asia, Latin America, the USA, the Persian Gulf, the Mediterranean, and Africa. Bashkir companies were able to open 13 new destinations due to the possibility of partial compensation for transportation costs.
According to Ida Galiakhmetova, director of the Ufa “Crambis” Research and Production Company LLC, the first batch of Crambe seed oil produced by the company — 1.6 tons — was bought by a large American cosmetic company. The second batch is planned to be delivered to Holland.
According to entrepreneurs, the republican program of subsidizing part of the logistics costs could not have come at a better time, since the competition in international markets is quite serious.
Now the republican government is considering the possibility of implementing such a measure of state support in 2020.
Besides, it is planned to introduce subsidies to companies of the republic for part of the costs of certification of products according to international standards — one of the highest costs for exporters.
