Symphony Orchestra Winter Festival was opened by Timur Mustakimov from Philadelphia in Ufa

The Winter Festival of the National Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Bashkortostan has opened in Ufa. A pianist from Philadelphia (USA) Timur Mustakimov came at the opening of the festival. The native of Nizhnekamsk, the graduate of the Kazan Conservatory, he now tours around the world and teaches students.
In Ufa, the musician, accompanied by the orchestra, played one of the most beloved and popular compositions - Tchaikovsky's First Piano Concerto. The pianist impressed the audience with the nobleness and beauty of sound, melodious and soft manner of performance, enchanting piano. The musician thanked the National Symphony Orchestra, noted its good potential and predicted it a “promising future”.
In the second part, the Tchaikovsky Symphony was performed by the orchestra.
The next concert of the festival will be held at the Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theater on December 16. The program “Young Stars of the World Opera” will be presented. In Ufa, popular arias from Russian operas will be performed by two soloists of the Bolshoi Theater Olga Seliverstova (soprano) and Julia Mazurova (mezzo-soprano).
