18.7 billion rubles will be spent on beautification in next three years in Bashkiria

In Bashkortostan, 18.7 billion rubles are planned to be spent on the improvement of the territories of municipalities, courtyards, the overhaul of apartment buildings, entrance halls, the construction and reconstruction of utilities in the next three years. Of these, nearly 3 billion rubles will be allocated for complex repairs of 12 thousand entrance halls, 900 million — for the installation of 69 thousand street lamps, 5.4 billion rubles — for the comprehensive repair of 415 public areas, more than 4 billion — for the improvement of 1,200 courtyard areas under the "Bashkir Courtyards" program.
“Our task is not only to accomplish our cities and villages but to create attraction places in them that meet the modern requirements of comfort and safety, interesting for all ages,” said the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Housing and Public Utilities of Bashkortostan Boris Belyaev at a public hearing on the draft budget.
He recalled that the implementation of the “Clean Water” project began in 2019, the purpose of which was to provide at least 92.5% of the population with high-quality drinking water, including 99% of the urban population. Over 4 billion rubles will be spent on this project.
