Chinese Cultural Center opened in Ufa

The Chinese Cultural Center was opened at Ufa State Petroleum Technological University in Ufa. As explained by the university representatives, it will have a mission of "a bridge between the two countries".
The opening ceremony of the Center took place during the Days of Russian-Chinese culture, which were held as part of the federal program "One Belt — One Road" and was dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and China. A businessman from the People's Republic of China Zhang Qi, president of the international company Zhuilin enterprises group contributed greatly to the Chinese Cultural Center creation.
“China is one of the most active partners of Russia and the republic. In 2018, China took 3rd place in foreign trade turnover, we have more than 20 agreements only at the official level. Therefore, such events are essential and important. Besides, it should be noted that we have quite a large number of students from China. I would like to believe that all this will yield positive results represented by students who will continue active cooperation between our countries and between our regions, ”said Aynur Samanov, deputy chairman of the Bashkir State Committee for Foreign Economic Relations.
