Today the fleet of the “Bashavtotrans” state unitary enterprise has replenished with 47 new buses of the Nefaz and Liaz brands. Forty-four of them will work on the city routes of Ufa, three more in Neftekamsk. The Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, handed over drivers the keys to new buses. He thanked the bus drivers for their hard work and wished them a trouble-free ride.

According to the general director of Bashavtotrans Nadir Samiev, buses will run on the busiest and most popular routes of the capital. Radiy Khabirov was shown not only bus salons but also new display boards, which will be installed at stops in Ufa and on the buses themselves. The first deputy head of the administration of Ufa, Salavat Khusainov, explained that 106 new bus stops would be installed in Ufa this year. The smart stops are equipped with an electronic public transport arrival board, a free Wi-Fi zone for Internet access, USB ports, LED lighting, a panic button, and a loudspeaker. All of them are combined into a united smart system.

Nefaz buses have a roomy interior with 105 seats, four heaters are available, which are especially relevant in the cold season and on the eve of winter. The vehicle is equipped with a floor-level control system (ECAS), a platform for one wheelchair and a ramp. The gas engine has a long service life; the bus has a tachograph and GLONASS navigation system.

Liaz buses have approximately the same features but run on diesel fuel. In total, the fleet of the main transport company of the republic will be replenished with 589 new buses until April 1, 2020.

This year, Bashavtotrans will receive a total of 527 buses. In the first quarter of 2020, another 62 buses will arrive — 17 middle class and 45 large buses.
