Concert of National Folk Instruments Orchestra will open Musafir Ethnic Forum in Ufa

A concert of the National Orchestra of Folk Instruments of the Republic of Bashkortostan, conducted by conductor Linar Davletbaev will open the Musafir Ethnic Music Forum. The Toratau Congress Hall will host the participants and guests of the “Pure Heart Music” concert on November 10.
The program includes music by Ural Idelbaev, Shaura Sagitova, Bashkir folk songs. Among the performers are the singer Rimma Amangildina, the ensemble of kurai players, Evgeny Chugaev (dumbyra), Arthur Gaisarov (kurai, throat singing), Aliya Akhmetova (kubyz).
To participate in the forum registration is required on the website https://msfr.ru/. Organizers invite ethnic groups to take part in events and auditions.
The Musafir Ethnic Music Forum will be held in Ufa from November 10 to 12. The project program includes a music conference, a series of masterclasses, training seminars, an exhibition area for presentations, an off-program for beginner musicians. According to the organizing committee of the Musafir Ethnic Music Forum, the main event will be showcase — ethnic musicians will perform non-stop performances in front of a professional producer community from Europe and Asia.
The project was awarded a grant from the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan aimed at preserving and developing the state languages of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the languages of the peoples of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Russian World Music Awards is the forum’s partner.
