Ufa has set new record for milk prices

In September, Ufa broke its own record for prices for whole pasteurized milk — an average of 50.16 rubles per liter compared to August 49.16 rubles. At the beginning of the year, a liter of pasteurized milk could be purchased in the capital of the republic for 47.36 rubles, Bashkortostan Statistics Agency reports, citing data from a sample observation.
Since March of this year, milk is more expensive for Ufa townspeople than all other residents of the republic. And, on the contrary, pasteurized milk is the cheapest for Sibay residents. In September, it could be purchased on average for 44.42 rubles a liter.
In Neftekamsk, the average price of milk in September amounted to 45.31 rubles, in Sterlitamak — 45.75 rubles per liter.
According to statistics, milk prices rose everywhere compared with the beginning of the year.
Thus, if in January the average cost of pasteurized milk was 46.99 rubles per liter in Bashkiria as a whole, then in September it reached 48.34 rubles.
