Beginning from January 1, 2020, minimal wage in Russia is offered at the amount of 12130 rubles. The corresponding draft of Russian Ministry for labor is approved by Russian Three-sided Commission on regulation of social-labor relations. The minimal wage’s rise will touch on about 3,2 million people, getting official salaries, and a half of them work at state and municipal institutions. In 2019 minimal wage has become equal to subsistence wage and now it makes 11280 rubles and 12972 rubles in Bashkiria, taking Ural coefficient into account. State Labor Inspectorate RB reminds that employers can’t set minimal wage lower than the federal one and this rule is valid both for budget and commercial organizations. At that one should remember that minimal wage also includes 13% income tax.
