Bashkir agronomists participate in the program for assembling unmanned flying vehicles, made by “IDS-Technologies” in the town of Blagoveschensk, Bashkiria. A 40-hectares field of winter rye in Birsk zone will be used as a testing area and it will be under investigation in the course of three years. Vehicle’s cameras make aerial photo- and video shooting, which data will be compared with laboratory results, focused on rye diseases, amount of weeds and plant pests. A geo-informational system will appear as a result of these investigations. It will be used in crops planning, specialists of Bashkir Agrarian Scientific Institute reported.
