Vladimir Putin instructed the Russian Government to develop measures to provide housing for young scientists. The president gave such an instruction following a meeting with students and graduate students of Yeltsin Ural Federal University, according to the Kremlin’s website.
“To develop measures aimed at creating conditions for providing housing for young scientific and pedagogical workers of educational institutions of higher education — candidates and doctors of science,” the document says. A report on the execution of this order should be submitted to the president before October 1.
It should be added that in Bashkiria a world-class scientific and educational center (REC) is created to attract young scientists to promising scientific developments as part of the “Science” national project, and it is planned to build an inter-university campus.
According to preliminary estimates, the total cost of the inter-university campus will be 11 billion rubles. Moreover, the financing of the project is planned at the expense of federal and republican funds in the ratio of 80 and 20 percent, respectively. The need for such a project is fully justified, according to the rector of Ufa State Petroleum Technological University Ramil Bakhtizin.
