UFA, 19 August 2019. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/.
Rospotrebnadzor, the Ministry of Education, Rosobrnadzor and the Russian Academy of Education have prepared guidelines on how to use mobile phones in general education organizations, TASS reports.
Departments recommend limiting the use of mobile phones in the classroom, and when entering the educational organization, switching silent mode on them.
The ban is not strict, the decision is up to the school. The restriction will not affect children who need to use such devices for health reasons (for example, for monitoring blood sugar in diabetes mellitus), as well as teachers and parents.
The recommendations are based on the international experience analysis: prolonged use of gadgets can lead to mental disorders, hyperactivity, irritability, sleep disturbances, as well as reduced mental performance, weakened memory and attention of pupils.
