Blagoveshchensky Valve Plant shipped products for 2.1 billion rubles in 2018

Blagoveshchensky Valve Plant is one of the largest enterprises producing pipe fittings in Russia. It employs 1,700 people. Since 2013, it is a part of the United Metallurgical Company. The history of the enterprise originates from the Blagoveshchensky copper smeltery, founded in 1756. Now the company produces various types of valves, steel valves, switching devices, safety valve blocks. The volume of shipped products amounted to 2.1 billion rubles in 2018, for the 1st quarter of this year — 511 million. Radiy Khabirov was told about the investment plans of the enterprise, he examined the work of several workshops there.
Consumers of finished products of the plant are enterprises of the oil and gas extraction, oil refining industries and companies of the energy industry of Russia. The main customers are the largest energy companies in the country — PJSC Gazprom, PJSC Rosneft, PJSC LUKOIL, PJSOC Bashneft, PJSC Surgutneftegas, PJSC Transneft, PJSC Tatneft. Products are also exported to various countries.
In 2018, the company supplied the first batch of products mastered by the concurrent engineering method. The second painting line was put into pilot operation in the painting department of the combined mechanical assembly shop.
In July this year, the plant became the 28th participant in the national project “Labor Productivity and Employment Support”. After introducing lean manufacturing tools, the company has the right to apply for financial support in the form of a soft loan from the Industrial Development Fund (in the amount of 50 to 300 million rubles at 1% for a period of 5 years).
