Brazzaville will perform for free in support of hospice construction in Ufa
UFA, 13 August 2019. /Bashinform News Agency/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/.
The leader of the cult American indie rock band Brazzaville, David Arthur Brown, announced the holding of a charity concert in Ufa on August 18 in support of a hospice construction in the capital of Bashkortostan. The musicians will perform for free, and all profits from the sale of tickets will be directed to the account of the Iman Foundation, where funds are accumulated for the construction of the hospice.
The American musician told Bashinform News Agency that he had planned to visit Ufa these days to perform at a festival held by one of the major retail chains. He learned from his friends about the initiative of charitable fundraising for the immediate start of the hospice construction as Ufa remained the only major city in the country without such establishment necessary for seriously ill children and adults.
Arthur Brown himself invited the promoters to find a venue for such an additional performance. The owners of the “Ogni Ufy” entertainment complex responded to the offer and the Brazzaville acoustic concert will take place there at 7 pm on August 18.
