Last weekend, an inscription with the name of the event was created on the field using a tractor and a plow at the “Live, Village!” Festival in the village of Akhlystino, Kushnarenkovsky district. The length of the inscription was 150 meters; the height of each letter was 20 meters. Thus, the organizers launched a flash mob, according to which it was necessary to make a similar inscription and upload a photo with the hashtag #livevillage on social media.
“Initially, the event was dedicated to the beginning of the restoration of the Church of the Nativity of Christ in the village, now we are trying to return not only the temple to the village but also to preserve our historical culture, our villages,” says Olga Samarina, the main organizer of the holiday.
Such festivities have been held in the village for already several years. This year, folk songs and dances, a puppet show, a fair, open-air tea-drinking for all comers, master classes in folk crafts, games for children and adults, prize drawing were prepared for the participants of the folk festival.
