12.4 thousand apartments were commissioned in six months: increase of 13.4% in Bashkiria

12,404 apartments with a total area of 986.8 thousand square meters were introduced in Bashkortostan in the first six months of 2019. This is 13.4% more than during the same period last year, the republican Construction Committee reports, citing the Bashkortostan Statistics Agency. The department also noted that these indicators were achieved through all sources of funding.
The share of housing introduced at the expense of the population and loans amounted to 66.2%. Residents of the region built 5849 own houses with a total area of 653.3 thousand square meters or 3.1% of the corresponding period of 2018.
“The developers — legal entities of the republic introduced 333.5 thousand square meters of housing in January-June 2019, which is 41.1% of the level of the first half of 2018,” explained by the State Committee for Bashkortostan.
In terms of housing construction for the period mentioned above, the republic ranks second in the Volga Federal District, yielding to Tatarstan, and in terms of housing construction per capita — in fifth place. In Russia, Bashkortostan ranks seventh, behind Moscow Region, Moscow, Krasnodar Territory, Tatarstan, Leningrad, and Rostov Regions.
