Agricultural products exports amounted to more than $ 33 million in Bashkiria in 2019

Bashkiria will receive state support from the federal budget for agriculture development in the amount of 2.7 billion rubles for 2019. 45.2% of this amount has come to the region now. According to the Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Patrushev, this is the national average.
At the meeting with the Minister in Moscow, the Acting Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, noted that currently 559 investment projects were being implemented in the republic with a total amount of subsidies paid of 1.6 billion rubles.
“State support measures stimulated an increase in exports of agricultural products. In 2018, it more than doubled compared with the previous year,” the press service of the head of the region specified.
According to the Federal Customs Service, as of June 23, exports amounted to 118,700 tons worth $ 33.1 million in Bashkortostan, including deliveries to the EEU countries in January-April. Most of all, the republic delivers wheat, sunflower oil, oilcake and rye to the CIS countries, Latvia, Iran, and Turkey.
Patrushev and Khabirov also discussed the amount of compensation for damage to farmers in connection with the loss of the crop in April during frosts. The federal budget is ready to allocate 2.5 billion rubles. Funds will be directed to the region after the decision of the government.
