NHL chooses Salavat Yulaev's defender

The defender of the Salavat Yulaev Semen Chistyakov was selected at the NHL draft, the club’s press service reports.
In Vancouver (British Columbia, Canada), the 57th draft of the National Hockey League newcomers ended. In the fourth round, Nashville Predators chose a trainee of the Salavat Yulaev’s sports school, a defender of the Ufa Tolpar 17-year-old Semen Chistyakov under the general 117th number.
As part of the Salavat Yulaev youth team, Semen played 58 matches in which he scored 19 (2 + 17) points with a “+19” plus/minus rate and 67 penalty minutes.
The "Tolpar" defender is regularly invited to the national teams of Russia of his age. Last season, Chistyakov became one of the heroes of the Junior World Championship (U-18), where, together with teammates Shakir Mukhamadullin and Rodion Amirov, he won silver medals as part of the Russian national team.
